Transmission
Our experienced crews have built hundreds of miles of transmission lines to bring power to the greater Houston and Phoenix metro areas, the remote islands of Hawaii and over the Rocky Mountains. We have built lines up to 500 kV for public and private clients.
Distribution
At Power Contracting, we build, maintain and upgrade both overhead and underground distribution powerlines to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers. Our team has installed distribution lines for a diverse group of utilities, co-operatives, public owners and private developers.
Substation
Our substation team is one of the best in the nation. We have an exceptional track record of completing large and mid-scale projects on time and budget with decades of experience and expertise constructing substations from site preparation to final commissioning.
Industrial
As the sector that produces and distributes the underlying goods on which our economy depends, industrials have seen a 40% growth over the past five years. Our infrastructure leadership lets us guide industrial customers through their growing power and civil construction needs. In addition, our teams are working out of some of the largest ports in the US and have the expertise to support expansions and large customers.
Drilled Shaft & Pier Foundations
Power Contracting has broad drilling capabilities that cover most applications – 18 inches to 12 feet in diameter and up to 60 feet in depth. Within our fleet of drills, we also have low clearance drilling capabilities. Our experienced drilling teams can provide piers for substations, transmission line foundations, and drilled shafts for distribution poles. We have concrete placement crews with numerous years of experience in constructing large, drilled pier foundations. We only utilize metal forms to ensure the foundation circumference is correct and the end product has a clean finish with no imperfections.
